Okay, I've been receiving many emails about Nordstom doing a buy-out of E.L.F. Cosmetics...
The emails claim that Nordstrom will be re-packaging the beauty products to sell as their own label. It promises that all E.L.F products must be sold at $1.00 to quickly deplete the “old” inventory”; and if you use certain promotional codes, you’ll receive even more of a discount.…
E.L.F. Cosmetics have always been priced at a low price-point. And they can be found at most bargain stores and drugstore chains.
I went straight to the source. I spoke with Cassie T ( CR Rep @ Nordstrom). The bottom line is that Nordstrom is not doing a buyout of E.L.F. In fact, here is an article that she sent me that is posted on Nordstrom’s website:

Now that we got that out of the way, have some fun!!! Be a wise consumer! Remember the old saying, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. No One knows where this rumor began. E.L.F is not the source. So if you decide to purchase from E.L F., just know that they are an independent company that makes quality products at affordable prices. I truly believe that it’s not how much money you spend on make-up that matters, it’s what you do with the make-up that makes the impression. So no matter if you buy E.L.F., Mac, or Guerlaine, please have some skills! Happy Shopping!!
